Hello I am Ali Heath, a UK based interiors journalist, author, stylist and content creator, with over 16 years freelance experience. I source, develop and place high quality concepts, visual content and copy for editorial home features, creative profiles, specialist maker features, lifestyle and concept stories. For me it is all all about storytelling - whether through words, images or spaces.
My style is all about celebrating real spaces and makers - bringing to life their own personal story and journey. In a world full of homogenous trends, spaces that are unique, timeless and thoughtfully put together, are ones that always appeal. My own home has been published within Homes and Gardens, Modern Rustic and YOU Magazine; and is included in my new interiors book, Curate.
Working with both established brands, emerging talent and homeowners, I align client needs with my network of exceptional UK and international photographers, in order to create compelling feature content, for world-class publications. I also collaborate regularly with editors, book publishers, PR's, architects, interior designers, creative brands and business owners.

EARLY CAREER Following successful careers in retail and brand marketing for Marks and Spencer's and Kraft Foods, I headed up new business for a top ten, below-the-line agency, harnessing my passion for working both strategically and creatively. In my early thirties, I swapped the buzz of agency life for the draw of antiques - no formal experience other than a discerning eye and a desire to source and sell what I loved. Work evolved from full time antique buying, to private sourcing and marketing consultancy for other antique dealers. Working with interior magazines, I developed a passion for writing and styling, which has remained my focus for the last 16 years.
APPROACH At the core of my approach is a passion for people, a deep appreciation of the editorial and interiors world, a love of the creative process, a respect for brand values, and an honest, open book style. These elements are considered at every stage, via targeted storytelling, tone of voice, visual energy, feature placement and brand consultancy. Balancing creative and strategic acumen, outcomes are considered and highly targeted.
